Compact drives

The new WH series escalator drives combine the advantages of worm gear and helical gear drives in a compact design that offers high efficiency, low noise and minimal maintenance.

Direct drive

The thin wire unit is mounted directly on the spindle, eliminating the risk of lubrication and contamination.

Traditional drives

Renold offers traditional baseplate arrangements designed for the London Subway, Washington Subway, and New York Subway.

Dual drive

Renold has developed a variety of solutions that are well suited to truss arrangements and can be configured as dual drives

Replace the drive

Renold manufactures replacement drives and gearing units for old and obsolete designs. Our design capability can be redesigned according to sample parts or drawings.
